Microsoft Office 365: Troubleshooting the Autodiscover Error
Outlook customers are known to
have always come out to share their connectivity problems. Same applies to MS
Office 365. The connectivity problem is basically considered as the Anti discovery
error. This is an error where you get disconnected and may not be able to get
back to work as you have always done with Office 365. To solve this problem,
there are a number of troubleshooting methods that can be used through some of

The first step in solving your
anti-discovery error is basically visiting your control panel then locating
Mails. As soon as you find it click it and a pop up will be seen. The pop up
will contain the following elements: “Email Accounts”; this is basically meant
for setting up email accounts and directories. The “Data Files”; will also be
in this pop-up but this is for changing settings for outlook files that are
used to store email messages and documents. Then there is the “Show Profile”;
this is where you will go ahead and click it. It will help you set up multiple
profiles regarding email accounts and data files.
The second step is clicking on
“Show Profiles”. A number of profiles used in your computer will be seen. From
here you will select the first option which is “Prompt for a profile to be
used”. Then proceed and click okay.
Step three is basically developed
from step two where you will have clicked okay. After clicking “OK”, you will
be prompted to input your name, email address and password for the Office 365 Support account you are trying to connect or initiate rediscovery. From here click
“Next” and this will take you to the next step.
The fifth step is basically
verifying whether the information you have input is correct then from here you
will receive an error message “If you want to create a profile with no email
accounts, click OK. If you do not want to create a profile at all, click
Cancel” This will call for you to click okay. This will make your profile
visible and you will soon be connected again.
